Resolution of ABO discrepancies is a critical process of transfusion medicine. This webcast course is intended to instruct the learner as to what an ABO discrepancy is, common causes, and techniques for resolution. It covers topics of acquired B, B(A), and A(B) phenomena, cold agglutinin interference, alloantibody interference, and ABO subgroups. Participants should have a basic understanding of ABO typing and antibody identification prior to this taking this course.
