Description:
This webcast course is an update on morphologic identification of Plasmodium and Babesia. Participants will be exposed to descriptions of classic features as well as atypical forms that frequently lead to misidentifications, and learn how to avoid these pitfalls. Participants will also learn additional methodologies for diagnosing malaria and when best to apply those alternative testing options. Also, Babesia will be presented as the primary morphologic differential in diagnosing malaria.
