Safety training in the lab is important, but do you train for inspection readiness? How do you “recruit” your staff to get on the lab safety team? This session will help you understand lab safety regulations and how they came about. Multiple laboratory safety topics will be reviewed, and methods for compliance in each area will be unveiled. Discover the different safety regulatory agencies, and hear the latest standard updates that affect the laboratory. Recent changes in the areas of bloodborne pathogens, chemical hygiene, waste management, and injury reporting will be reviewed along with tools to help manage them while keeping the lab ever safe.
