· define primary cold agglutinin disease (CAD);
· describe the features of primary CAD-associated lymphoproliferative disorder that formulate a distinct diagnostic entity in the newly revised World Health Organization and International Consensus Classifications;
· distinguish primary CAD from other clonal lymphoproliferative disorders previously associated with CAD;
· describe the molecular abnormalities associated with the disease; and
· explain various treatment modalities for CAD.
