Upon completion of this activity, you will be able to:
· describe thyroid carcinomas with high-grade cytologic features;
· discuss incidence, presentation, morphologic features, immunohistochemical profile, prognosis, and treatment options for thyroid carcinomas with high-grade cytologic features;
· recognize and diagnose intrathyroid thymic carcinoma on cytology; and
· recognize differences in clinical presentation and cytologic features between intrathyroid thymic carcinoma and other thyroid carcinomas with high-grade cytologic features.
