Upon completion of this activity, you will be able to:
· identify syndromes associated with higher risk for developing Wilms tumor;
· explain the role of molecular testing in the management of nephroblastoma and preserving frozen tissue for appropriate molecular tests;
· discuss the gross and microscopic features relevant for diagnosis and management of Wilms tumor;
· gross and document nephroblastoma specimens appropriately; and
· submit appropriate and adequate tissue for proper diagnosis and risk stratification.
