Upon completion of this activity, you will be able to:
· recognize the clinical and pathologic features of membranous nephropathy (MN) associated with the phospholipase A2 receptor (PLA2R) antigen;
· describe the clinical and pathologic features of MN associated with neural epidermal growth factor-like 1 (NELL1) antigen;
· discuss the current knowledge on the 3 known antigens in membranous lupus nephritis; and
· discuss the antigens identified in specific clinical groups: patients with previous hematopoietic stem cell transplant, patients with underlying malignancies, and pediatric patients.
