• discern radiological findings for the presumptive identification of intracranial neoplasms;
•  describe the histological findings for a meningioma;
• identify common genetic mutations associated with meningiomas by location and histologic subtype;
•  understand the risk factors for developing a meningioma;
•  understand the responsibilities of the respiratory centers in the brainstem; and
• explain how meningiomas can cause unexpected death.
