• discuss guidelines within forensic pathology for differentiating common iatrogenic findings;
• recognize the most common injury patterns associated with CPR that may be observed in a decedent;
• distinguish between blunt force injuries secondary to resuscitative efforts versus those resulting from trauma; and
• differentiate between puncture marks from medical interventions versus those associated with substance use disorder.
