Upon completion of this activity, you will be able to:

• describe the clinical presentation of Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome;
• identify risk factors of Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome;
• create a differential diagnosis that includes Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome when presented with non-specific respiratory symptoms, especially with relevant risk factors;
• explain the pathophysiology of Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome; and
• recognize autopsy findings typical of Hantavirus and appropriate postmortem diagnostic testing.
