Upon completion of this activity, you will be able to:
· recognize the classic clinical presentation of paratesticular tumors;
· identify benign and malignant tumors arising in the paratesticular region;
· describe different variants of liposarcoma, including microscopic description and immunohistochemical staining; and
· explain the importance of specific molecular/cytogenetic studies in diagnosing different variants of liposarcoma, such as MDM2, CDK4, and FUS-DDIT3.
