Upon completion of this activity, you will be able to:
· recognize the cytology of different thymic epithelial tumors ;
· address the challenges involved in diagnosing thymic carcinomas on cytology samples;
· discuss cytomorphologic features of thymic squamous cell carcinomas in fine needle aspiration cytology; and
· understand the utility of immunohistochemistry for cytology samples of thymic carcinomas.
