· recognize cytologic features of HPV-independent SCC with a basaloid morphology;
· distinguish characteristics of HPV-independent SCC with a basaloid morphology from other basaloid tumors; and
· differentiate features of HPV-independent SCC with a basaloid morphology from other entities with discussion of immunohistochemical staining properties and molecular studies.
