· describe clinical, histologic, immunophenotypic and genetic features of mantle cell lymphoma;
· describe the differential diagnoses for mantle cell lymphoma;
· recognize the challenges in the diagnosis of cyclin D1-negative mantle cell lymphoma; and
· select appropriate diagnostic tests to differentiate cyclin D1-negative mantle cell lymphoma from other entities in its differential diagnosis.
