· identify the cytologic features of pleomorphic adenoma;
· distinguish characteristics of pleomorphic adenoma from other salivary gland neoplasms;
· identify features of carcinoma ex pleomorphic adenoma on histology and cytology studies; and
· identify the key ancillary studies, including immunohistochemical and molecular analysis, that support the diagnosis of pleomorphic adenoma.
